Voctave: It Feels Like Christmas Peace Concert Hall At The Peace Center - SC Concert reviews
Doobie Brothers are great but .....
The opening act was terrible in my opinion and he was on stage until 8:15, Concert was to start at 7:30. Personally, I prefer their oldies and not the newer heavy rock stuff. It was about 8:45 before they even started setting their stage, then the Voctave: It Feels Like Christmas had to finish. They only played for about 1-1/2 hours and I only recognized about 6 songs.
I felt I was cheated to pay what I did for a ticket. I asked, "how much did he have to pay to be the opening act?" The opener did ok if he sang someone else's songs but his own songs sucked. I am sure the Doobies did not choose him.
They should have gotten a clue from the audience. Everyone was seated when they played new stuff and everyone was standing, swaying, dancing, singing when they played oldies. So I was not the only one. Almost half the ticket (in my opinion) was to listen to this local hopeful.
